Hollywood losing influence

With the recent Harvey Weinstein scandal a lot of the right wing youtubers including Paul Joseph Watson and Stephan Molyneux made videos on how the populace started to renounce and resent Hollywood and started to see the evil place for what it really is. Is this perhaps a sign that rejection of Hollywood indicating a turnaround of culture and modern thinking?
